We had left off last week where we assumed that the procedure was incorrect and we needed to run syslinux on the unmounted usb. We had surmized that step 14 of the procedure needed to be run with the usb drive unmounted. Procedure After trying this it was still the result that the key does not work. Time permitting we can troubleshoot it together and post the results.

Another google search shows windowsfix but this procedure is not for me. If anyone is able to get the linux procedure for creation of the persistent Kubuntu USB drive to work please let me know or email duane
